Organizations We Support

Junior Achievement USA

Junior Achievement prepares young people for the real world by teaching financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness. Their programs reach students from elementary through high school, making sure kids understand how credit works, how to manage money, and what it takes to build something of their own. We've been active supporters of JA for years through board service and volunteering.

Give Us Wings

Give Us Wings partners with communities in Kenya and Uganda to build lasting change through health care, education, and economic sustainability. They don't just send aid. They work alongside villages to create systems that keep working long after any single project ends. This organization is close to our hearts, and we're proud to support their work in East Africa.

3DE

3DE re-engineers high school education to be relevant, experiential, and connected to the real world. By integrating business into academics, students don't just learn theory. They apply what they learn to real problems, building skills that actually prepare them for what comes next. We believe in their mission to make high-quality education accessible to all students.

Educational Pathways Academy

Educational Pathways Academy is a private school in Southwest Florida dedicated to educating students in grades 1–12 with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities. Their teachers use research-based methods and personalized instruction to help students strengthen their academic abilities while growing socially and emotionally. Our daughter attended EPA for four years after we moved to Florida. In Minnesota she struggled with reading, school, and self-confidence. After four years at EPA she was confident, thriving, and her academics improved dramatically. A complete 180, and we owe so much of that to EPA's amazing teaching style and kindness.

Dyslexia Awareness

We believe every dyslexic kid deserves to be taught in a way that works with how their brain thinks, not by putting every student in the same box. We've seen what happens when kids don't get the help they need. They get down on themselves and start to believe they're not as smart as the other kids, a hit to self-image that can last years. We've also seen what early detection and the right support can do. When dyslexic thinkers learn in a way that fits how their brain works, they go on to be the brilliant people they already are. Over 50% of NASA employees have dyslexia. 35% of entrepreneurs are dyslexic. Richard Branson, Steven Spielberg, and Albert Einstein are all dyslexic thinkers. But here's the other side: 47% of inmates have dyslexia too. The difference is whether someone got the right help early enough. We advocate for earlier identification, better resources for families, and schools that teach kids the way they actually learn.

It has grown into one of the region's most important engines for opportunity, sending graduates on to build careers and businesses close to home. We support FGCU through the President's Circle, helping fund scholarships and programs that keep a college education within reach for local students.
